Super rewards – crowdfunding finale

There are just days till the New Internationalist digital outreach crowdfunding campaign finishes, so to go out with a flourish we’ve released three super rewards for those who make a new pledge.  Our supporters have done very well – thank you so much – but at just over $8,000 raised so far, we’re still a very long way from the $28,000 we need for full implementation of the project.

There’s something for all budgets in the new rewards, starting at $15 and ranging up to $86 for the super reward from Gotye.

And then of course, for the most nurturing reward of all, there’s the $110 matching subsidy for a New Internationalist school subscription that I wrote about previously.  Students and staff at a school will receive the reward of being able to read the New Internationalist magazines’s award-winning analysis of global justice and sustainability affairs, to help them make sense of the world.

The new rewards we’ve just introduced are:

  • $15 – an autographed CD and Poster from Peter Combe – winner of 3 ARIAS for Best Children’s Album plus seven gold and two platinum CDs (remember “Spaghetti Bolonaise” and “Toffee Apple”?)
  • $56 – a gorgeous 3 CD collection from Carl Cleves and Parissa Bouas – Australia’s definitive troubadour couple
  • $86 – a fabulous autographed pack from Gotye – winner of 3 Grammy Awards – the pack consists of 3 CDs (includes “Somebody I Used to Know” and “Hearts A Mess”), plus a poster and 2 vinyls

But please do get in quickly to make your pledge and snap up your reward.

If you’ve already made a pledge, our team members at the New Internationalist Co-operative are deeply grateful for your help in getting us past the tipping point. With your help we’re now pushing ahead with the design of our Apps and have stepped up distribution of our digital magazine.  Your pledge will be activated within a day or two of the end of the campaign on November 19th, and we’ll start distributing rewards the following week.

If you’re reading this after November 19th 2013, and would still like to support the project, you can visit our online shop to make a direct donation to assist our digital outreach work on global justice issues.  Thank you.
