The future is in good hands. The Australian Youth Climate Coalition, GetUp, The Oaktree Foundation and many other organizations are supported by crowds of enthusiastic young activists.
The best activism is supported by meticulous research and motivational stories, and that's exactly the specialty of the New Internationalist magazine.
Can you please help us with a donation so that we can nurture more young activists?
Here's the deal:
- We've developed excellent digital versions of the New Internationalist magazine, both for browsers and for mobile devices. They're super-important for our outreach work, particularly in schools and universities, to ensure the next generation of potential activists have the global justice facts and arguments they need.
- We need funding to continue improving these digital tools and our printed magazine.
- Another way to support our independent journalism is to take out a subscription to our online digital subscription service.
We deeply appreciate your help with this.
This is a tremendously exciting project; the digital transformation of our outreach work is our most important venture since the Australian launch of the New Internationalist in the 1970s.
But for a not-for-profit Co-op like ours, it's very demanding. There's a very long lead-time on generating income from these new high-tech ventures. We need your support to plug that gap.
The New Internationalist is a non-profit social enterprise and is a registered Fair Trade Organization.
Please help by giving what you can to the Fair Future Fund. If you'd like to donate more than $20, just press the Add to basket button several times.
The New Internationalist brings to life the people, the ideas and the action in the fight for global justice.
The Education Web Guide team were particularly impressed by the quality and educational content (of the New Internationalist magazine)
... we just love supporting the great work you guys do ...
I've always been profoundly impressed by the quality of its research and its writing and how readily accessible it makes otherwise complex world affairs. Each of its ten annual editions is a short course in something profound.
I'm stimulated, excited, saddened and engaged by the people who write for the magazine. Keep up the great and important work.
A little about Asha Handicrafts: Asha Handicrafts provides the security of markets to small scale artisan workshops around India, like ANSA, the soapnut harvesters in Tamil Nadu.
New Internationalist Australia is a member of the World Fair Trade Organization, which means we have to stock a percentage of Fair Trade products, and also adhere to Fair Trade practices ourselves. Great for supporting producers rights, and also for our staff.
