Putumayo World Party is a feel-good music collection featuring some of the worlds best-known dance rhythms, and is guaranteed to enliven any gathering.
Featuring reggae from Jamaica, compas from Haiti, zouk from the French Caribbean and zydeco from Louisiana, as well as cross-cultural blends such as Italian ska, African salsa and Danish calypso, this collection illustrates the impact world music has had on partygoers everywhere.
Artists include: Laurent Hounsavi (Benin), Los Pinguos (Argentina), Sarazino (Canada/Algeria/Ecuador) and Ray Paci & Aretuska (Italy).
A portion of Putumayos proceeds from Putumayo World Party will be donated to Action Against Hunger, an international relief and development organization committed to saving the lives of malnourished children and families while providing sustainable access to safe water and long-term solutions to hunger.
