The Independent Press Awards are selected by the editors of Utne Reader magazine to 'honour independent efforts that provide bold, innovative, thought-provoking alternatives to mass media fare.' The New Internationalist magazine won the inaugural 1989 award for International Coverage.
Since then, the magazine has won the award for 'Best International Coverage' another seven times. In the year 2000 the New Internationalist also won the highly valued readers' poll.
New Internationalist products are always of high quality. I love receiving them.
I do enjoy your magazine - it provides a good balance to a lot of the right-wing / conservative and pro-big-business-dominated media.

Four pots hanging from a handplied multicolored jute cord, called a 'ghoti' in Bangla, create an artful way to grow herbs and small plants. Handcrafted by Bangladeshi artisans for CORR the Jute Works.
Note: The pots do not have drainage holes, but the porous nature of the terracotta will cause the soil to dry out gradually. As with all pot plants, you should not overwater.
NOTE: Due to the unusual shape of the package, the Herb Planters are only available for delivery by regular post within Australia. They are not available for Express Post, nor for overseas orders.
