There's something particularly enticing about sitting down to a table replete with several Indian curries. This stylish and timeless lidded curry pot will add real authenticity to your next Indian meal, when used as both a cooking pot and serving dish for your curries and side dishes.
Made by hand from stainless steel and copper, using traditional, time-honoured techniques by artisans in the north of India.
The outer copper surface ensures even heat distribution when cooking in the oven or over a gas flame. Use only low to medium heat, as high heat may cause discolouration. Not for use in a microwave.
Hand wash only, using mild detergent, rinse well and dry with a tea towel. Copper naturally develops a dark colouration over time, lending the pot authenticity and charm, but if you prefer to maintain the new clean colour, polishing occasionally with lemon juice will remove tarnish and restore shine. A cleaning cloth is included with each pot.

New Internationalist supports Fair Trade producers like The Chetna Organic Cotton Project. Fair Trade promotes a fair wage and fair working conditions, encouraging developing world producers to help themselves.
A little about The Chetna Organic Cotton Project: Say NO to pesticides that poison three million people every year, and help make trade fairer at the same time.
New Internationalist Australia is a member of the World Fair Trade Organization, which means we have to stock a percentage of Fair Trade products, and also adhere to Fair Trade practices ourselves. Great for supporting producers rights, and also for our staff.
