Allo Scarf
Nepalese nettle scarf
Hand-knitted using yarn from fibres of the Himalayan giant nettle (allo). The unique quality of allo fibre is seen at its best in these soft lace-like shawls, which are fine enough to pull through a wedding ring. Made by the Allo Cloth Production Club in Nepal, using traditional techniques practiced for generations. Wonderfully light and warm, and a great conversation piece.
Approximately 160 x 35 cm. Colour shades and patterns may vary a little. Hand wash in cold water.
