issues. Prior to this she was editorial
director at the Panos Institute and
co-editor with the New Internationalist.
Normally she specializes in gender,
poverty, human rights and refugees,
but she is always partial to a bit of
fair-trade chocolate! |

Troth Wells joined
the NI in 1972, helping to launch
the magazine and build up its subscriber
base. She now works on the editorial
team as Publications Editor and has
produced three food books The NI
Food Book (1990), The
World in Your Kitchen (1993), The
Spices of Life (1996). In addition she
is the English-language editor of The
World Guide produced by the Third World
Institute in Uruguay. She has travelled
in Central America, Africa and East
Asia, and most recently Morocco. |
